GABS Craft Beer Festival through our GABS Cares program, in partnership with Hop Products Australia (HPA), Konvoy and Bar Barons are proud to announce a new initiative to support new and emerging Australian breweries through the Up & Coming Brewers Bar.
The GABS Festival Up & Coming Brewers Bar will showcase four breweries who are new or emerging in each state. This is a fully sponsored opportunity for the selected breweries who will be offered a shared stand with all bar and beer tap equipment provided by our partners Bar Barons. In addition, the successful breweries will receive a supply of kegs for the festival from our partners at Konvoy and up to 20kg of the highest quality Aussie, international or innovative hop products from our partners at HPA so they can make a sensational festival beer.

Since appearing at GABS Festival, Up & Comers Curly Lewis Brewing Co opened the doors to Bondi's very first brewery bar and Freshwater Brewing Company introduced their Taproom in Brookvale where fans can try a super fresh beer straight from their tanks.
It was a trifecta for Noodledoof who not only debuted at the 2023 Up & Coming Bar in Melbourne, they also brewed a GABS Festival Beer and were invited to can that beer for the GABS Festival 8 Pack distributed in Dan Murphy's nationwide!
We were absolutely thrilled to see so many former GABS Up & Coming Brewers feature in the Indies trophy winners and medallists including these GABS Festival brews!

Eligibility
The Up & Coming Brewers Bar is open to all breweries who meet the following criteria;
Open to new, emerging or contract breweries that launched after 1 January 2020.
Have never exhibited at a GABS Festival.
Must be planning to retail within 12 months, or already retailing in the same state as the festival you are applying for.

ENTRY CRITERIA
ELIGIBILITY
The Up & Coming Brewers Bar is open to all breweries who meet the following criteria:
brewery launched after 1 January 2020
have never exhibited at a GABS Festival previously
be already retailing OR planning to launch within the next 12 months, in the same state as the festival applied for
APPLICATION
Once you have submitted an application form, your submission will be assessed and if successful further information on the next steps will be provided to you. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate. GABS’ decision on this is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
COMMERCIAL TERMS
Standard GABS trading terms apply at the festival. This includes 50% Exhibitor Rebate on product sales, site fees do not apply. More information on this can be found on the exhibit page.
